Dividend policy
Since the establishment we have paid quarterly dividend fourteen times. Every quarter USD 87.50 per participation was paid out to our shareholder.
Fourth interim dividend 2011
Tuesday the 11th of October the interim dividend over the fourth quarter of 2011 was paid. The quarterly dividend is always paid in advance.
Since the inception NBZ has always paid the quarterly dividend; this is the twenteeth time in a row. As in the previous quarters the intermin dividend amounted USD 80,00 per outstanding unit. This represents over 7% per annum of the outstanding capital.
On behalf of NBZ, the N.V. Algemeen Nederlands Trustkantoor ANT, withholding 15% dividend tax, paid out the interim dividend.
No dividend tax was withheld from investors like ‘Pension BVs’ that enjoy participation exemption and therefore do not owe any corporate income tax on the dividend.
Dividend return
- Since the inception NBZ shareholders have achieved a dividend return of more than 7%.
- NBZ expects that this can increase even more in 2011.
- Main reason is that most of the formation and emission fees have been repaid.
- This allows the return and share price to benefit from the profit of NBZ (unforeseen negative developments excepted).
